We will have:

  • 17 X Boys Miniroo/Junior Teams.
  • 3 x Senior Men's Teams
  • 1 x Senior Women’s Team
  • 1 X Girl’s Teams.

In saying this we also have a number of girls playing in the boy’s squads up to the age of 12.

Williams Landing FC is creating an environment whereby boys and girls can enjoy learning and playing football as part of a community club.

The key factors that can be attributed to the club’s growth include:

  • Brand of Football played by our Miniroos & Junior teams during the home & away season and during tournaments both locally, interstate and overseas.
  • Association with a local brand in Athletic Football Group which is renowned for the development of individual players.
  • The club represents a new environment with a key focus on development for our members & coaches and most importantly fill a need in the club football space.
  • Our focus in introducing and growing the sport with girls.
  • The Clubs brand new facility which is located in the West of Melbourne.
  • Marketing of our club achievements and associations through social media channels and in the print media. The reach has been significant in getting members to the club.

Rich in History

Williams Landing derives it's name from the historic aviation base on which it is located, RAAF Williams Airfield.

It's named after Air Marshal Sir Richard Williams, the man many regard as the 'father' of the Royal Australian Air Force, which was home to numerous Squadrons and was used by all manner of aircraft.

In recent years, upon it's closure, the RAAF Williams Airfield has become a thriving Community Hub.
