Our Story
Williams Landing FC was formed in 2017. In its inaugural year Williams Landing FC had 71 members (players). This number grew to 149 in 2019, 275 for the 2020 season and continues to grow for the 2025 season.
Our 2025 season has teams rostered in the Joeys, Wallabies and Kangaroos levels of community football from age U7s through to U18s, with boys, girls and mixed teams entered in many of these age levels.
Williams Landing FC has created an environment whereby boys and girls can enjoy learning and playing football as part of a community club.

The key factors that can be attributed to the club’s growth include:
-
Brand of Football played by our Miniroos & Junior teams during the home & away season and during tournaments both locally, interstate and overseas.
-
Association with a local brand in Athletic Football Group which is renowned for the development of individual players.
-
The club represents an environment with a key focus on development for our members & coaches and most importantly fill a need in the club football space.
-
Our focus in introducing and growing the sport with girls.
-
The Clubs brand new facility which is located in the West of Melbourne.
-
Marketing of our club achievements and associations through social media channels and in the print media. The reach has been significant in getting members to the club.
Rich In History
Williams Landing derives it's name from the historic aviation base on which it is located, RAAF Williams Airfield.
It's named after Air Marshal Sir Richard Williams, the man many regard as the 'father' of the Royal Australian Air Force, which was home to numerous squadrons and was used by all manner of aircraft.
In recent years, upon it's closure, the RAAF Williams Airfield has become a thriving Community Hub.
